Barcelona

We went back to visit Barcelona and to celebrate my mother in-law's 90th birthday. I hadn't spent time in the city in many years and I really enjoyed being there. We walked and walked and walked. We ate fresh fresh tapas and I saw family and friends. We went to the Picasso museum and it had been expanded quite a bit. I was shocked at the amount of tourists that had invaded the city. Tourism isn't 'hurting' in that city. We were only there for a week and it was too short. I even went running on the careterra del aguas. It is up on Tipidabo and overlooks the beautiful city.

Hope! You're back! Yeah! I'm so glad you had a good time and am also quite envious. Barcelona is such a great city! I can't wait to hear all the details. I'm working on report cards right now...ugh...but they are due tomorrow and then it's downhill till the end of the school year. I'll call you this week. Do you have pictures?

Hi Sally, I thought of you often while walking down Las Ramblas. It'd be so fun to go back with you and Pam one day. I do love the city and all the architecture, art, good food and clothes, omg,the clothes are so great. I wanted to shop shop shop but couldn't couldn't couldn't. No dinero. But it was fun to window shop. Let's do catch up soon. Good luck with end of year stuff.
